Restaurant Branding

Sydney Restaurant Milk Bar was looking for some cute, kitsch branding to match their genuine, fun, down to earth attitude as an eatery.

Their brand colour palette featured a beautiful vibrant orange, I was heavily inspired by modern Korean and Japanese design,

I decided to emphasise the playfulness and family-friendly environment and created this character for the primary logo.

I mocked up a super simple animation as an introductory social media post.

The owner said his kid really loved the animation, and seeing that joy is what reaffirmed his decision to go in this design direction.
